Due to budget constraints, the Seed Grants for Outreach and International Activities program is paused for 2009-10. We are optimistic the program will be resumed in fall 2010.

Eight years ago our office established the New Initiatives/Seed Grant Program to give life to bold ideas in outreach and international programs. So far we have awarded over $1,000,000 to 108 diverse programs across the UC Davis campus.

We request proposals that will foster new and creative programs related to: 1) University Outreach (continuing, distance, and lifelong learning, and academic engagement with the broader society), or 2) International Programs (international research, educational, and outreach programs).

Funding ranges from $1,000 to $10,000 per proposal.
