Chancellor's Trips
Annually Chancellor Larry Vanderhoef travels internationally to advance the presence of UC Davis in strategic locations as identified by faculty and administrative staff. He is usually accompanied by a small delegation of faculty and staff, appropriate to the mission of the trip.
He also attends the Annual Presidents' Meeting of the Association of Pacific Rim Universities [APRU], an association of thirty-five prominent research universities bordering the Pacific Rim, which gathers at a rotating host university site.
The next scheduled trip is in June 2008 to Tokyo, Japan, for the Annual APRU Presidents' Meeting.
