Purpose

1. Meetings with Ministry of Education and University of Athens leaders regarding conditions to establish an Agreement of Cooperation between the two institutions.
2. Expanded experiences with two UC Davis summer abroad classes, totaling 50 students
3. Advanced relationships with a passionate group of UC Davis alumni and friends at a dinner and summer abroad theatre performance.
4. Meeting with Athens influence leaders at a lunch hosted by the U.S. Ambassador at his private residence.

Outcomes

1. Networking with alumni and identifying leadership for the group.
2. Advanced connections with University of Athens leaders with an end goal of a formal Agreement of Cooperation.
3. Advanced relationships with Greece influence leaders in Sacramento and Athens.
4. Established connections in the wine industry in Greece.
