Greece
The first UC Davis alumni event in Greece was held in July 2008 on the island of Hydra. The attendees enjoyed dinner on the island of Hydra and then attended a performance by the UC Davis Summer Abroad program, Playing with the Gods. Photos coming soon.

India
New students from India who will be attending one of the ten campuses of the University of California in the fall as freshmen met with alumni and friends in India in August 2008.

Japan
The UC Davis Japan Alumni Chapter and Hosei University cosponsored a symposium "Globalization in Higher Education."
