UC Davis offers many ways for UC Davis students to have an international experience while on the UC Davis campus. From classes to student organizations to events or interacting with the more than 5,000 of international students, scholars, faculty and staff from more than 100 countries on campus. In addition, 1,200 of our students study or work abroad each year, building a global academic network.
GENERAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
World Cultures
The objective of the GE Core literacy requirement in World Cultures is to train graduates to develop a global perspective, graduates who can live productively and exercise critical judgments in a world where communication technologies, economic relationships, and the flow of people across national borders increasingly challenge national identities and create transnational cultures.
